On July 26, 1992, 45-year-old Nolan Ryan recorded his 100th strikeout of the season, marking an incredible 23rd consecutive year reaching that milestone. In the midst of a 6 game span going 5-0 with a 1.65 ERA, the Rangers’ ace fanned five Orioles in a 6–2 victory, securing career win number 319. That moved him past Phil Niekro on the all-time wins list, further cementing his legend. More than just longevity—Ryan’s dominance defied time itself.
